A waiting period is the period of time between when your policy starts and when certain benefits as stipulated by your policy are eligible to be considered to be paid by Delta Dental. If you have at least 3 months of dental coverage prior to your effective enrollment date (with no more than a 30-day break in coverage), your waiting periods will be waived on your new Delta Dental policy.
