Accountant Job Opening at Delta Dental of Wyoming:

The role of the Accountant is to assist the Director of Accounting with the day-to-day operations and management of all accounting/finance functions for the organization. With limited direction, the Accountant will utilize a thorough understanding of accounting principles in order to ensure complete, accurate, and timely work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:  Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank, investment and eligibility reconciliations, Preparation of accurate and timely reports, Ensures accuracy, completeness and timeliness of transactions processed, Runs and prepares reports including routine financial reports and analyses, Completes daily deposits, Download and process claim check runs, Set up Individual dental policies and complete ACH transfers, COBRA, Runs and prepares eligibility queries and experience reports, Generates contracts, ACH set up for Dentists, Assists as necessary with answering of customer phone calls, Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel), ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments concurrently; proven ability to operate successfully in a demanding environment; demonstrable track record of high performance, detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong work ethic, previous Accounting experience and a great attitude are essential.
