 Position opening - Customer Service Representative/Scanner

The customer service representative/scanner is responsible for responding to telephone inquiries from dental office staff, subscribers, agents/brokers and employers through effective verbal and written communication as well as trouble shooting and resolving all types of dental claim inquiries.   Scans claims and x-rays into claims system, researches errors and works with dental offices to make corrections.   Provides excellent service to customers regarding eligibility, benefits and claims.  Will learn back-up functions in the following areas: ACA plan processing, provider database maintenance; processing of orthodontia claims, group contracts, etc., Assists with the processing of incoming mail, Recommend and actively participate in implementing improvements in workflow and processing, Completes special projects on time and with a high degree of quality, Creates and maintains team spirit, Represents Delta Dental of Wyoming in a professional manner both internally and externally, Maintains strict confidentiality.

Qualified candidates for this position will have:

High school diploma or equivalent, with two years of insurance business or related customer service inbound call center experience, Strong customer service skills, Excellent oral and written communications skills, Ability to multi-task, ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.    Computer skills including experience with MS office suite applications, knowledge of insurance reimbursement practices, i.e., processing policies, deductibles, maximums, Coordination of Benefits (COB) and dental terminology.
